28-day bible reading challenge
We believe the Bible to be God's Word, where He has spoken and revealed Himself to us. We desire to be a community unified around God’s Word.
Join us in our 28-Day Bible Reading Challenge! Starting Monday, April 1 (not a joke), we are reading through the book of Acts as a Church Family, taking one chapter each day.
CHALLENGE DETAILS
April 1 - read Acts chapter 1
April 2 - read Acts chapter 2
April 3 - read Acts chapter 3
structure
We highly recommend finding a good rhythm for reading the Scripture each day. One simple method for reading and applying God’s Word to our lives is by using the S.O.A.P. method.
S.O.A.P. involves four steps:
Scripture – Read a Bible passage.
Observation – What do you notice about the verses? What questions do you have? What do you think the main message is? What verses, words, or ideas jump out to you?
Application – Ask God how He wants you to apply the verse to your own life.
Prayer – Pray for yourself and/or for others.
RESOURCES
We love the resources and overviews that the BibleProject has on their website. When we look at the book of Acts as a whole, we get a better understanding of the themes and truth we have in God’s Word.
