EASTHAVEN CARES
Easthaven Cares exists to walk alongside our Church Family in times of need, whether ongoing support or short-term help. We believe the body of Christ is called to care for one another!
CARE COMMUNITIES (LONG-TERM SUPPORT)
Care Communities are designed to walk with people in our church family through ongoing seasons of life where extra support and encouragement are needed. Each community surrounds individuals or families with a small team of consistent care, offering prayer, friendship, and practical help. These groups aim to reflect Christ’s love by making sure no one walks through difficult seasons alone.
Widow Care: Walking alongside widows with friendship and practical support as they navigate a new season of life.
Caregiver Care: Supporting those who are caring for a spouse, parent, or child, offering encouragement, prayer, and respite where possible.
Foster/Adoptive Family Care": Surrounding foster and adoptive families with consistent prayer, meals, babysitting, and other support so they don’t walk the journey alone.
Grief Care: Coming alongside those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, offering presence and listening ears.
Cancer Care: Supporting individuals and families walking through a cancer diagnosis or treatment with prayer, visits, meals, and hope in Christ.
SOS Teams (servants on standby - short-term help)
SOS stands for Servants On Standby. When practical needs occur within our body or within the neighboring community, those who have joined the SOS Team are alerted so that we can meet those needs as the hands and feet of Christ. The goal of the SOS Ministry is to pair those in need of non-cash goods or services with someone who can provide help or organize others to fulfill a need. As a member of the SOS Team, you will be notified of requests via the SOS email alerts list.

BENEVOLENCE FUNDS
Benevolence Funds are available to members at Easthaven when they find themselves in a tough spot. Our church family gives specifically to this fund, and we have it available if you find yourself unable to pay your bills or buy groceries.
SHEPHERD SHELVES FOOD PANTRY
The Shepherd Shelves food pantry is available to our church and community. If you know of a neighbor or friend who needs help to get by right now, make sure they know about the resources available in our food pantry.
