  • This committee of men and women is responsible for the compensation, benefits, policies, and performance reviews of all paid staff—especially of the Senior Pastor. To contact anyone on the Personnel Committee, please email [email protected].

    Member Requirements:

    • Demonstrated love for the Lord and His church at Easthaven.

    • Church membership for two years or more.

    • Is a member of Easthaven in good standing (Gives regularly of their time, finances, and skills).

    • Familiar with business and/or human resources.

    • Strong relationship with the staff.

    • Excellent communication skills, maintaining confidentiality.

  • The Ministry Leadership Team (MLT) is a team of men and women who are recognized church leaders. The MLT shall consist of representative(s) from key ministries including, but not limited to, the following:

    • Adult Discipleship

    • Care Ministry

    • Generations Ministry

    • International Missions Committee

    • Men’s Ministry

    • Nominating Committee

    • North American Missions Committee

    • Ordained Leadership

    • Personnel Committee

    • Stewardship Committee

    • Thompson Lakes Christian Retreat Team

    • Women’s Ministry

    • Worship Ministry

  • This team of men and women is responsible for the financial functions of the church. This includes coordinating the annual budget process, reviewing financial reports, monitoring cash flow, and evaluating monthly and annual financial reports.

    Member Requirements:

    • Demonstrated love for the Lord and His church at Easthaven.

    • Church membership for two years or more.

    • Is a member of Easthaven in good standing (Gives regularly of their time, finances, and skills).

    • Before any energy is exerted in committee work, members will be intentional in seeking individual guidance of the Lord through prayer and Bible study.

    • Members will be faithful attenders to committee meetings. Two unexcused absences forfeit further participation in committee service.

    • Members will be on time for meetings and thoroughly familiar with the relevant materials that are provided in preparation of the meetings.

    • Excellent communication skills, maintaining confidentiality.

  • This team of men and women is responsible to give guidance to the efforts of Easthaven to share the Gospel beyond North America. They coordinate mission events and trips, offerings, and fundraising efforts, and give financial assistance to people and projects as allowed in the budget.

    • Church membership for two years or more.

    • Is a member of Easthaven in good standing (Gives regularly of their time, finances, and skills).

    • Has a passion for international missions.

  • This team of men and women is responsible for local outreach that seeks to strengthen the church’s influence in our local community. They are responsible for working with staff to help our church engage in local endeavors such as local church starts, community projects, and local and state-wide outreach.

  • This team of men serves the church in congregational care—visitation, baptism, communion, care of widows, and church discipline. They are required to meet the Biblical qualifications in 1 Timothy and Titus. They meet as needed and are responsible to the Congregation who elects them.

  • This team of men and women holds in trust church property and signs legal documents of the church as approved by the membership. It is essentially a group of people that meet the legal requirements for the church to function. They meet when necessary and are responsible to the congregation who elects them.
