LAY LEADERSHIP NOMINATIONS
Last November, our church elected two men to serve on the Committee for Committees, tasked with identifying, training, and mentoring new and existing Standing Committee members and Volunteer Ministry Leaders, as outlined in our By-Laws. The Committee for Committees is seeking new Standing Committee members! If you feel called to serve, please self-nominate by visiting the Hub after services or fill out the form below.
Here’s how the process will work for New Committee Members:
Self-nominations: To ensure that the nomination process is thorough and Spirit-led, we encourage self-nomination as the primary approach. If you feel called to serve, please self-nominate by filling out the form online above. The deadline to self-nominate is February 24.
Personal Recommendations: If a church member or Committee Chairperson believes someone would be an excellent fit for a committee, we encourage you to approach that individual directly and encourage them to self-nominate. The Committee for Committees will not take names or follow up directly on third-party recommendations.
Process and Timeline:
Once nominations are submitted, the Committee for Committees will reach out to nominees to confirm their willingness and availability to serve. A final list of new committee members will be submitted for approval and communication. We will vote on this list at the next Church Family Meeting (more details coming).
How You Can Participate:
We encourage everyone in our congregation to:
Pray for wisdom and discernment during this process.
Reflect on your own gifts and consider whether God is calling you to serve.
Support and encourage others who may feel led to serve by nominating themselves.
For any questions, or to learn more about the process, please contact the church office. Together, we trust God to provide capable and faithful leaders to serve His church.

This Committee is not yet fully formed. On August 4, 2024 all proposed bylaw changes, including the newly created Committee for Committees section, passed with over 91% in favor.
On November 24, 2024, we voted on two names to begin forming the Committee for Committees. Since these individuals were approved, they are responsible “to identify, train, and mentor new and existing Standing Committee members and Volunteer Ministry Leaders,” per our By-Laws.
