UPCOMING VOTE ON JUNE 7

Our Church Family will vote on Sunday, June 7 at 1:15PM. We will be voting on two items:

  1. Proposed Budget. We normally vote on the church budget yearly in November. However, our Stewardship Committee is recommending a transition of our annual ministry budget to a new fiscal year of July 1 – June 30, replacing the current January–December calendar. This change better reflects the rhythm of our ministry year, which begins with preparation in July and August, launches in September, and winds down in June. It also allows year-end giving in December to fall mid-budget cycle, giving us time to make thoughtful adjustments and finish the year strong. Because of this change, we will be voting on a Proposed Budget for July 2026 to June 2027. View the Proposed Budget below.

  2. Proposed Excerpt to the By-laws. In March 2026, the church membership gave unified support to the proposed elder board leadership model. In order to begin implementing this change, we now present a proposed excerpt to be added to the Church By-laws. Remember, Easthaven will continue to maintain congregational authority and the role of Senior Pastor. View the Proposed Excerpt below.

  • The Proposed Budget and Proposed By-law excerpt are emailed to the Church Family.

  • Sunday, May 17 at ____PM

    Our Church Family will gather together for a Q&A Meeting at this time to provide space for questions and discussion concerning the Proposed Budget and the Proposed Updates to the By-laws.

  • Sunday, June 7

    12:30PM - Lunch will be provided for anyone who has registered before June 5. Register for lunch: CLICK HERE

    1:15PM - Our Church Family will vote on the Proposed Budget and the Proposed Updates to the By-laws.
