RECAP & RESULTS FROM SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 24

On November 24, we gathered as a Church Membership to vote on the Proposed 2025 Budget and the names for Committee for Committees. On Sunday morning, 198 church members registered and received ballots to vote. During the meeting, 182 ballots were collected.

In case you weren’t able to make this meeting, or if you’d like to read a summary of the meeting, details are below. We have also included the results of the votes below.

PROPOSED 2025 BUDGET VOTE:

After counting the ballots, 94.5% voted yes to approve the Proposed 2025 Budget. Per our current bylaws, this vote must pass by a two-thirds majority. The Proposed 2025 Budget passes.

COMMITTEE FOR COMMITTEES

We also voted on lay leadership. Two names were on the ballot to begin forming the Committee for Committees. After counting the ballots, 97% voted yes to approve both Rick Early and Gary Cremer. The votes both passed. These men will be responsible “to identify, train, and mentor new and existing Standing Committee members and Volunteer Ministry Leaders,” per our By-Laws. More information and updates will be available soon.
