INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
At Easthaven, we believe in investing in furthering Kingdom work by providing hands-on, ministry experience through our internship program. Our interns work alongside Ministry Leadership, gaining valuable skills, insights, and mentorship to help them grow in their careers. Whether you're a student or a recent graduate, our internships offer a dynamic environment where you can contribute, learn, and make an impact.
Meet Our Interns (May-june 2025)
We love our interns—and we also love teasing them a little.
The bios below were created with the interns themselves, so yes, they helped write these roasts (and laughed the hardest). They’re a great group—hardworking, hilarious, and full of heart—even if they do have questionable drink preferences.
Alayna Herr
Straight outta Lancaster, PA, where she lived in the same house her whole life, which explains why she’s still shocked Montana has mountains. She just wrapped up a gap year at Montana Wilderness School of the Bible and is now in that beautifully terrifying “waiting on the Lord” phase... aka, no fall plans. She’s serving in the Children's Ministry, because wrangling kids for Jesus sounded more appealing than getting a real job. Orders iced oat milk lattes with honey and cinnamon like she’s auditioning for a Hallmark movie.
David Gardner
David is from Kalispell, Montana, which means he’s the local tour guide whether he likes it or not. He just finished his first year at MWSB and liked it so much he’s going back, some might say it’s for the spiritual growth, others might say it’s because he doesn’t have to do his own taxes yet. He’s interning with High School Ministry, which is great because high schoolers love people who think chocolate milk is a legitimate beverage. Sport climbs for fun, and yes, he talks about it like it's a personality trait.
Jenni Finkle
Also from Kalispell, Jenni’s the brains of the operation. She’s majoring in Business Analytics, which we assume means she knows what a spreadsheet is. As the Operations Team Intern, she keeps things running behind the scenes, mostly by sighing loudly every time someone forgets to label a Google Doc. Obsessed with chocolate (mochas), skiing, her dog, and quietly judging people who don’t recycle. If you need something done, she’s your girl—as long as it doesn’t interfere with piano time.
Boaz Amadio
Boaz rolled in from Gresham, Oregon, with a diploma from MWSB and a 1999 Astro van that may or may not be held together by duct tape and prayer. He’s working with Middle School Ministry this summer, which makes sense because he drinks half Red Bull, half Gatorade, essentially the same internal chaos as a 12-year-old boy. He’s got big youth pastor energy and a firm belief that deodorant is more of a suggestion than a requirement.
