STAFFING UPDATES

As we continue to improve our communications and as the dust settles during this season of transition, more information and details will be provided to you, our Church Family. We will continue to keep this page updated.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our staff.

Pastor Matt Fitzwater has accepted the call to pastor with Howard Mee at Glacier Church in Kalispell. As many of you know, both Pastor Matt and Pastor Howard have been providing pulpit supply at Glacier Church for the last few months. During those months, Glacier Church entered into a process of searching for a new pastor. Howard and Matt applied to be co-pastors at their church. This past weekend, Glacier Church extended a call for both Howard and Matt to be co-pastors, and they accepted.

We’ve been looking forward to sharing this news once it became official, and now we get to celebrate with them! We get to launch them into a new ministry, but at the same time we are sad because we are going to miss seeing them as much. We know you may have questions, and we’re finalizing details now about Matt’s counseling ministry to continue at Easthaven. We hope to share more this weekend, April 27/28.

What do we do now? We pray and trust that God is at work. He will continue to grow and spread His Church. We get to celebrate what God is doing this weekend, and our Church Family will pray over both the Mee family and the Fitzwater family this weekend.

Debbie Catlett who served as our Weekend Preschool Ministry Leader is also leaving our staff. Both Lee and Debbie Catlett felt that God was opening a new door for their Mark4 ministry, and they look forward to serving in ministry together again. Debbie’s last day at Easthaven was Friday, April 26.

Heidi Freeman accepted the part-time admin position and will start in our front office on Wednesday, May 8. We are excited to have her join our staff!

On Sunday, July 30, 2023 our Church Membership gathered for a Family Meeting and approved Chad Warren as our Senior Pastor. Chad was born and raised in Kalispell until his sophomore year in high school when he moved to Colorado. In July 2022, his family moved back to Montana, and he was been on staff as our pastor of mobilization for the last 12 months. He is a visionary who has the capacity to successfully shepherd us moving forward.
